A year ago, I received a sample of HerStyler and have been using it ever since with great success. It gives my hair a lot of body, nice shine and it smells very nice. Love it! Great product for those with sensitive skin  Jun 09, 2010 I have suuuper sentisive skin - to the point that I really can't use conditioner or use leave-in products because they irritate the skin around my hairline. This hair serum is a lifesaver! I can use it without irritating my skin, and it doesn't make my hair limp or greasy-looking at all. In fact, I've stopped using conditioner in the shower and use the serum after my shower instead. It also smells great, not "perfumey" but pleasant. My finace never responds to lotions or body spray with fragrance, but every time I use this serum he remarks on how good my hair smells, even at the end of the day. I'll be ordering more for sure! 2 of 2 found the following review helpful: Does not protect from flat iron heat  May 21, 2010 I got so exited with the results of my HerStyler flat iron that I wanted to try more of their products so I got this Hair Serum,with my african american relaxed hair I really need to protect my hair of heat, while the price was great for the product I realized after I got it that it do not protect the hair from the heat as other products, I am using this serum now just to seal the hair after I am done flat ironing but with my damp hair before flat ironing I am using Redken Smooth Down heat protection which is great for me. So if you are looking for heat protection this is not the product, this serum is great for sealing the hair after is dry. Silky hair, odd smell  May 02, 2010 This product is very similar to Bumble and Bumble DeFRIZZ (4 Ounces), which is what I normally use. Both products effectively coat your hair with a gloss and protect it from heat damage & tangles. The HerStyler serum works to that end -- it makes my hair silky and shiny. I purchased the HerStyler serum rather than the B&B DeFRIZZ because the HerStyler was selling for under $8. The only major complaint I have is the smell. It has a strong scent which isn't exactly a bad smell, but not great either. The smell fades after I blow it dry, so it's not so bad. HerStyler Hair Serum  Feb 01, 2010 I love this product!
